A MONASTERY IS A HOME. It is not like a company where workers come to work and go back to their respective homes. It is a place we love and take care of. Our efforts to invest time and energy in our gardens is to be understood in the broader context of taking care of the environment. It is true that planting of flowering shrubs like bougainvillea, hibiscus, tree-brush, various palm trees as well the taking care of our lawns, make the surroundings of our abbey glitter with beautiful green colour. However, behind the beauty of our gardens is the desire to make Mother Earth healthy and beautiful!
